FAMILY TIES & PORTUGUESE WINES
On 9 December, The Vintage hosts Certified Wine Specialist Valerie Tan for an intimate early-evening tasting shaped by craft, heritage and the warmth of small gatherings. Having lived in nine countries and worked in Portuguese vineyards, Valerie brings deep knowledge to every bottle she selects.
In this edition’s theme, “It Runs in the Family” celebrates Portugal’s multi-generational winemakers with a curated mix of sparkling, white and red from family-run, small-scale producers. Each wine is chosen for the story it carries, offering a glimpse into traditions passed through generations.
The tasting unfolds inside The Hangout, where a live vinyl set by Sandro Maravillas enriches the atmosphere, paired with a few cheese and charcuterie bites to enjoy along the way, all within an intentionally small group — a shared table moment for curious sippers.
