Vines & Vinyl is The Vintage’s take on the wine tasting, where thoughtfully selected bottles meet the warm crackle of vinyl spinning in the background. Set inside The Hangout Bar, our laid-back lounge where mid-century design meets an open fireplace, each session brings together a small group of curious sippers for a curated flight of wines, guided by a passionate host. The theme and wine selection for each edition are revealed closer to the date.
On 18th June, we welcome Certified Wine Specialist Valerie Tan for an intimate early-evening tasting. Having lived in nine countries and worked in Portuguese vineyards, Valerie brings genuine depth to every bottle she selects, each one chosen for the story it carries and the tradition it represents.
As the tasting unfolds, vinyl records take their turn on the player. Conversations linger. Glasses refill. A few bites of cheese and charcuterie find their way to the table. No agenda, no rush, just good wine, great sound and unhurried company.
No two editions are quite the same. The wines change, the music shifts, the theme evolves. But the ritual stays: sip, listen, discover.
